Donald G. Jansen, MD

Family Physician

 Dr Donald Jansen is a physician board certified in family medicine, obtaining this first in Canada from University of Alberta (and earning a fellowship from the Canadian College of Family Practitioners) and then board certification in the US with the American Board of Family Physicians. He has been an associate professor at the Universities of Alberta, McGill and West Virginia. He first practiced in an inner city setting followed by time in rural and semi-rural areas. For a period he worked as a Medical Director and Vice President with hospital medical staff in credentialing, quality and utilization in the local area and later at UPMC, Pittsburgh. He recently returned to clinical practice with a renewed appreciation to seek autonomy and independence to build a truly patient centered practice.


John-Paul Jansen, MD


Yes, Dr John-Paul Jansen is son of Dr Donald Jansen. He grew up in rural Quebec and later moved the US for college. He attended Christendom College and later earned his Doctoral degree in medicine at West Virginia University. School of Medicine. He completed residency at Kansas University for Internal Medicine. He initially practiced as a hospitalist in the Denver metropolitan area at several large hospital settings. He and his family moved to Front Royal in 2017, first working at Winchester Medical Center. Passionate about good, honest and personalized health care, he joined his father in starting a DPC practice in 2022.  His lives with wife, Anne, and five children in Front Royal, VA.


Patrick Vander Woude, FNP, NP-C

Nurse Practitioner

Patrick has practiced in family practice and most recently pediatrics. He completed undergraduate training in Nursing at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, and completed his Masters in Nursing at George Washington University in D.C. Before practicing medicine, he served as a pilot in the United States Marine Corps. Patrick graduated from Christendom College in 2005, where he met his wife. He lives on a small farm in Nokesville, Virginia, with his wife Jill, and seven children. Patrick is dedicated to medical freedom, informed consent, and working to practice medicine in a God-centered, holistic manner.
